Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Have a Royal Wedding Perfume
Prince Harry Thought you were ready for the royal wedding? Think again. Even if you’ve stocked up on all the necessities for the perfect royal wedding viewing party, there’s one more thing you can add to your wish list: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding perfume.
That’s right. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day is now even further customized with it’s own special wedding perfume. The couple is set to receive their own custom scent from perfume icon, Floris London, just for the occasion. Amalia Robles, the manager of Floris’s Jermyn Street store in London, revealed to People that the perfume is similar to the brand’s Bergamotto di Positano perfume.
According to the publication, the brand “created a perfume inspired by Bergamotto di Positano, a warm citrusy unisex scent with a romantic history. Bergamotto di Positano, which smells of bergamot, orange blossom, ginger, and green tea, was created in remembrance of Mary Floris, as well as her husband, who left the village of Positano on the Amalfi coast in Italy to travel to England to marry her.”
But don’t go rushing to Sephora. Sadly for us non-royals, the perfume is part of the brand’s private collection and will not be mass-produced for the public.
This isn’t the company’s first foray into royal perfume production. Floris London makes a scent for the Queen on her birthday every year, and has been working for the royal family for generations. In 2011, the company made a signature scent for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, called Wedding Bouquet.
Even though you can’t cover yourself in this perfume for the royal wedding, you can find other royal wedding viewing party items to make it feel like you’re right there in London.
